Coming from a background of researching, developing and writing books on software engineering, everything I do is currently related to Artificial Intelligence: I supervise AI research, I write books on AI, I give lectures on AI, and I make strategies and frameworks for AI adoption and AI governance in the industry.
I am particularly interested in the societal impact of the technology: What does Artificial Intelligence mean for us as human beings and how we relate to each other? What does it mean for our jobs and for our economy? How can we create governance frameworks such that AI is used safely, effectively and responsibly in industry, government and civil society? What does it mean for our democracy, and how can we shape the technology to serve us as adhere to our values, strengthening our democratic society rather than tearing it down?
Contact me directly if you are interested in lectures, keynotes or workshops on any of the above topics.
